Please read the Terms and Conditions below before registering for Yellow Ribbon Run 2026.
  1. Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 is organised by Yellow Ribbon Singapore and Singapore Prison Service, and they are referred to collectively as "the Organiser" in accordance with the Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 Terms & Conditions.
  2. By registering for the Yellow Ribbon Run (YRR) 2026, you certify that you have read, understood and agreed to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by the Organiser for purposes reasonably required for the conduct and promotion of Yellow Ribbon Run 2026.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or other media captured during the Yellow Ribbon Run 2026 or the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) for legitimate purposes, including commercial advertising, promotion of Yellow Ribbon Project (YRP), subsequent Yellow Ribbon Runs or similar events, and distribution of promotional materials to sponsors, donors, and partners.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to contact participants to enquire or verify his/her real name and particulars if the Organiser has any reason to believe that a fictitious name, particulars or contact information have been used for registration.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to replace any requested name/phrase to be printed on the race bib with prior notice, without providing any reasons.
  6. All participants must register by 2 August 2026, 2359hrs for the requested name/phrase to be printed on the race bib.
  7. Kindly note that during the REPC and on the actual event day, we will be showcasing the names of runners participating in the 10km competitive run, 5km non-competitive run and the 888m Parent-Child Run on our YRR 2026 branding board. This is only for participants who sign up for the run by 2 August 2026, 2359hrs.
  8. The Organiser will not entertain nor be responsible in any way for any disputes arising from incomplete registration details.
  9. Once registration has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for Participants who do not eventually take part in the event.
  10. Participants below the age of 18 are required to seek parental/guardian consent prior to registration and complete the relevant indemnity declaration forms as deemed necessary by the Organiser upon the online registration. Failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse registration of the Participant.
  11. Run registrations are strictly non-transferable.
  12. The Organiser reserves the right to amend any run routes as deemed necessary for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event. In the event of such changes in routes, a reasonable effort will be made to notify the Participants prior to the date of the run, unless it is not feasible to do so due to sudden exigencies.
  13. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss and/or inconvenience arising out of and in connection with any such changes.
  14. The Run aims to rally community support for ex-offenders who have served their sentences and are committed to turn over a new leaf. Participants must not use the run as a platform to advocate other causes or to campaign against existing laws. Participants are reminded that using the run to advocate other causes or to campaign against existing laws may constitute an offence under the Public Order Act, Singapore Statutes (Chapter 257A).
  15. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and/or refuse entries without providing any reason.
  16. All participants who successfully complete the requirements of their run category will receive an e-certificate which can be downloaded from their profile page. The run results for 10km competitive run participants will be published on YRR 2026's website.
  17. For all Participants, disputes and appeals regarding the results must be submitted in a written format via electronic mail within 7 days after the Race date. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any dispute or appeal after the stated period.
  18. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the Participants' safety, Participants run at their own risk and the Organiser will not be responsible or be held liable for any loss or damage, personal or otherwise, injury or death, howsoever arising from participation in the run. Participants are strongly encouraged to undergo a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the run.
  19. All Participants are responsible for their own safety during the event. All Participants must also observe traffic regulations.
  20. Whilst baggage deposit services are provided during the event, the Organiser will not be held responsible or otherwise liable for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to any belongings and/or items deposited. Participants are strongly encouraged not to bring or deposit your valuable items/ belongings on the event day.
  21. The Organiser reserves the right to check any belongings and/or items deposited.
  22. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the format of the runs due to unforeseen circumstances. There will be no fee refund should the event be cancelled due to exigencies.
  23. The Organiser reserves the right to amend any rules and regulations without prior notice.
  24. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may result in disqualification and no refund will be given.
